FAQ

Q1
How should they be stored?

Everything we bake is an all-natural, FREE of preservative and additive. They arrive to you in an airtight bag with seals to lock in the freshness. We recommend storing in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight in their original packaging. Once open use within two to three weeks.
Refrigerator: Using an airtight container is the best way to go. Your treats can last for at least 2 months in the refrigerator.
Freezer: If you use an airtight container your homemade dog cookies should last for at least 9 months in the freezer.

Q2
How long will they last for?

If stored correctly as per Question 1, they will last for a few months. If they are not stored correctly they may deteriorate and could spoil easily.

Q3
How long will my order take to be despatched and delivered?

All our Dog Biscuits are baked fresh only when you place an order with us online, so please allow up to 10 days for your order to be freshly made. An email will be sent by us advising that your parcel has been dispatched with a tracking number via standard Australia post-delivery. If no-one is available at time of delivery, your order will be held at the nearest post office.
Delivery to a work or other daytime address, or PO Box is recommended.

Q4
What does all natural mean?

Our ingredients are 100% premium human grade sourcing local Australian suppliers, using wholemeal flour, Fresh local produces vegetables and herbs; Australian beef, roo and chickens (dried & dehydrated). We do not add artificial preservatives, sugars, and salts.

Q5
What is Carob and can dogs eat it?

Yes, absolutely! Carob is the dog-friendly alternative to chocolate. It is made from the pods of a carob tree and it is 100% natural and safe for dogs to eat. It has the same sweet richness that we humans love about chocolate. It is high in vitamins B1, B2, calcium, magnesium and iron.
The carob we use in our treats and to decorate our treats with is human grade and it is the same carob that diabetic people eat because it is sugar free. We use a milk carob, dark soy carob and yoghurt to create the decorations and icings on our unique treats.

Q6
How hard are the treats?

All our treats are crunchy and require chewing which benefits dental hygiene. For older dogs that have little or no teeth, I can customise orders to bake soft treats, just like human cookies. Bear in mind soft treats won’t last as long as hard treats and must be consumed within 7 days.

Q7
Do you have wheat-free treats?

Yes, we do! We offer rice flour used as a substitute for wheat flour in gluten-free dog treats. Just send us an email and we can customise orders for you!
